After following a gluten free diet now for twenty years, I have tried about every thing in the market that substitutes for "all purpose flour". I have also tried my own variety of different flours, but failed some on taste, texture etc. But with Beth's gluten free all purpose flour, I have found something that works in cakes, cookies, muffins etc and it does not taste gluten free. It is affordabe for daily use and can be substituted in any recipe for "all pupose flour". Definitey, you need to experiment with your baking, but we had great holidays with it!

I was very excited to find this product listed here, as I have many members in my family who are gluten intolerant. We thought we would have great holidays with all kinds of cookies, breads, pies, muffins and cakes. When the boxes arrived the bottom of it read "may contain traces of soy". I ws disappointed as this was never mentioned in the product description and many of my family members are soy allergic. As per FDA food items can not be returned, but this seller did accept my return and I was issued refund for the boxes I bought.

This flour can be used as a substitute in any recipe for "all purpose flour"!

This flour does not give the best results when used itself, but better results when mixed with other flours. So experiment and try. My first try at the pie crust failed as it was difficult to roll it. I patted it into the pan, but the taste was decent. It was better in crepes with xanthum gum, but not perfect. My best results came with 1:1 of this flour and bob's GF baking flour mixed with xanthum gum = great texture and taste! hapy me:)

This is a good and cheapest gluten free flour available. Thanks for carrying it.

My son suffers from celiac disease and I had to bake separately, but with Beth's gluten free flour I can use it for any cakes, muffins, cookies, pancakes etc. Its affordable and I use it for the whole family. Its difficult to distinguish the taste from the regular flour. I buy in bulk and use it for daily baking.

Last few months have been tough , as my boy has been diagnosed with several food allergies. Gluten is also on the list. I love to bake, bake cakes cookies, muffins, pancakes breads etc. But after discovering his allergens these have become a challenge. Beth's gluten free flour does not take the taste awway from my baking. The recipe on the box is wonderful and may do ver well if you stick to it. My son is also allergic to egg and milk products. I have experimented and come up with mixing this flour with oat flour to come up with great consistency, that can be used for baking any goods. I recommend it for all those who are gluten intolerant. This flour has become regular in our diet. If you have somebody in the family who has food allergy, its discouraging, but I would say there are so many of us, so if I can do so can you.

The other flour blends were working fine for my recipes, but this one did not. The cookies I baked melted and flattened, they turned rock hard, even before the baking time got over. The breads did not raise and remained as lumps, the cookies, biscuits, sugar cookies all flattened much before the baking time was up in the oven. This flour can not be used in place of "all purpose flour".
